Make this St Patrick’s Rainbow Wreath Craft for Kids using a paper plate, markers, and ribbon! This adorable Rainbow Wreath doubles as a fun craft for kids AND a St Patty’s Day decoration they can display and be proud of!

Today I’m sharing a fun St Patrick’s Day themed paper plate craft!
This Rainbow Wreath is so bright and colorful and a good craft for kids to get in on the St Patty’s Day fun! It doubles as both a creative project and a festive decoration.
When your kids are done coloring the plate they can display it on their bedroom door. They will be so proud of themselves!

St Patrick’s Rainbow Wreath Craft
This craft does require a bit of scissor skills when cutting the hole in the center of the paper plate. It’s not hard to do, but you may want to complete that part before handing the paper plate off to smaller kids.

Use this craft as a learning opportunity and teach your kids the colors of the rainbow! They can follow the traditional rainbow pattern or let their creativity shine and create their own color combo.
Such a cute and easy St. Patty’s Day craft and decoration in one!
What you Need for this St. Patty’s Day Rainbow Wreath Craft:

How to Make St. Patrick’s Rainbow Wreath
- Project Level: Preschool to 3rd Grade
Cut the center of the paper plate by folding it in half and cutting just inside the ridged border. Set aside the center cutout for a later project.

Have your kids follow the pattern for the colors of the rainbow (or let them get creative with their own pattern) and color in the ridges all the way around the paper plate.

Use ribbon to tie a knot where you want the top of your wreath to be. This makes it so you can hang it on a door. Add a bow at the top of your wreath for an added touch.

Hang the rainbow wreath on your child’s door or display on a wall.
