St Patrick’s Day Dream Catcher Craft for Kids
This craft is easy, but a bit more advanced for toddlers. It involves scissors and a few fine motor skills, so I recommend this craft for preschool to 2nd grade.
The finished dream catcher is so adorable! Your kids can display this as their very own St Patrick’s Day decoration or for when the leprechauns come to visit.
HOW TO MAKE This St Patrick’s Day Dream Catcher Craft
Project Skill Level: Preschool to 2nd Grade
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Empty toilet paper roll
- Scissors
- Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and black construction paper
- White yarn
- Pom-pom maker (optional)
- Glue
- Gold glitter glue
DIRECTIONS


Glue each strip of construction paper around the toilet paper roll in the pattern of a rainbow: red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple. Glue the black strip of construction paper to the bottom for the pot of gold.


Using a pom-pom maker or your hand, create two pom-poms with white yarn. If making by hand, wrap the yarn around your hand 50 times and tie a piece of yarn around the center. Cut in half and trim the pom-poms to your liking.
Attach the pom-pom strings to the inside of the toilet paper roll with glue. Glue another piece of yarn on the inside of the top of the toilet paper roll so you can hang the dream catcher.


Add glitter glue around the edge of the black construction paper to create a pot of gold

Materials
- Empty toilet paper roll
